Laura Kennington’s Maple Hamper Giveaway Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility: Our social media competitions and prize draws are open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of Liquid and Maple from Canada UK, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with administration of the competition/prize draw. The immediate family, friends, and anyone affiliated or associated with Laura Kennigton is also ineligible to participate in this giveaway.
  2. Agreement to Rules: Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw/competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  3. Entry Period: The giveaway begins on Thursday 10th June at 18:00 and ends on Sunday 13th June at 6pm. Entries submitted after this time and / or failing to meet all entry criteria will not be counted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or other communications not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  4. How to Enter: Entrants must follow @laurakairos @MapleCanadaUK on Instagram with the same profile used to enter the draw. They must also tag a friend into the competition post (one tagged person being one entry). The promoter may cancel future promotions of this or any type not yet advertised at its sole discretion.
  5. Prizes: The winner of the prize draw will be chosen by random draw on Monday 14th June. This will be performed by a computer process and the winner(s) drawn out will be selected from all those who gave the correct answer and abided by the competition rules. The prize(s) of a hamper will include but is not limited to 4 x sample bottles of maple syrup (one of each grade) and a Maple from Canada UK cookbook. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered. By accepting the prize, the selected Winner grants permission for the Sponsor to use the Winner’s likeness, entry, and name for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
  6. Selection and Notification of Winner: Winners will only be contacted by @LauraKairos and / or @MapleCanadaUK on Instagram. Maple from Canada UK, Liquid, and Laura Kennington will not contact winners by any other means and accept no responsibility / liability should fake accounts pertaining to be any of the above contact you. The Sponsor is not responsible for nor shall have no liability for Winner(s) failure to receive notices due to email security and / or privacy settings. Nor shall be Sponsor be liable for the Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner 1) fails to claim the prize within [7 days] from the time the award notification was sent, 2) is found ineligible, or 3) does not complete and return an executed declaration and release within the specified timeframe, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner may be selected.
  7. Limitation of liability: Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
