Glasgow-based chef and TV/radio presenter, Julie Lin, reached the quarter-finals on MasterChef in 2014 and now co-owns a Malaysian-inspired diner in Glasgow, Ga Ga Kitchen & Bar.
Julie is a seasoned (if you’ll pardon the pun!) chef, TV and radio broadcaster, restaurant owner, industry award winner and featured cook – she’s even had the joy of cooking lunch for Dame Judi Dench!
Passionate about holding the door open for other women in the industry and passing the baton on to the next generation, Julie is a huge champion of fellow female chefs and entrepreneurs, alongside teaching cookery lessons to school children local to her in Glasgow.
She takes great pride in pulling inspiration from her Malaysian-Scottish roots to develop the South East Asian and Malaysian cooking she is known for, and is currently working on her first recipe book.
