#Maple4grade – Crossbar Challenge
Through the Maple Products from Quebec sponsorships with WBA FC Women and BCLFC Regional Talent Club, we set the #maple4grade challenge, in which players have four attempts – at various grades of difficulty – to hit the crossbar.
The four grades of difficulty represent the four grades of maple syrup which are harvested at different stages of the maple yield. The easiest shot represents the first of the harvested syrup, Golden Delicate Taste, the lightest in colour typically used as a dressing on sweet and savoury dishes. The hardest shot represents the darkest of the grades, Very Dark Strong Taste, typically used for glazing meat dishes and making sauces.
The #maple4grade challenge
For U16 & above
- Set up four balls, the first on the edge of the 18 yard box and the next three balls 4/5 yards apart in a line towards the half way line
For U14s and below
- Using a smaller goal, set up four balls, the first 3/4 yards from the goal and the next three balls 2 yards apart in a line towards the edge of the box
Maple Products from Quebec, WBA FC Women and BCLFC are looking to challenge football fans throughout the UK to see if you can beat the professionals!
